Issue
You can’t find the Equator VST or AU plugin inside a digital audio workstation (DAW).
All Waves plugins are installed to a folder named ' Plug-Ins V12 ' (or V11/V10/V9, whichever version is installed on your device), which is inside the Waves folder, located on your system hard drive. These files should not be moved. Instead, a WaveShell is placed in your host application's plugins folder.
So, as it stands, I can't use AmpliTube 4 at all. Not in standalone mode because it refuses to use my audio interface's native ASIO driver and not as a VST plugin because I can't find the right files to drop in my host plugins folder. A) Computer C DRIVE PROGRAM FILES VST PLUGINS b) Computer C DRIVE PROGRAM FILES (x86) VST PLUGINS 3) There is also confusion in the PROGRAM FILES (x86) as there is a STEINBERG folder where some of my plugins automatically file themselves under. This is confusing to me. Working pretty well here. Win 10 64 bit, FB2K 1.3.9 beta 4, Voxengo TubeAmp 2.5 (32 bit VST), VST Adapter 2.4 (build 0.9.0.3). Crashes sometimes when changing settings, but if you just load a preset and leave it, it works great. Make sure it's the 32 bit VST you are using. Audacity VST Enabler is a program that allows the VST plugins to work. Visual Studio Technology (VST), on the other hand, is a plug-in software that adds several effects in an audio recording and editing tool. It provides a variety of functionalities including virtual instrument sounds.

Ensuring your DAW is using the correct plug-in location
Some DAWs have different default locations to scan for plugins. If you have installed a plugin (like Equator) and can’t seem to access it from your DAW, check the DAW’s settings to ensure that it is looking in the right folder. In some DAWs you can set additional folders to scan automatically.
For example, in Ableton Live:
- Go to Preferences > File Folder.
- Select the button Use VST Plug-In Custom Folders
- Click Browse by VST Plug-In Customer Folder
- In the window that opens, navigate to the folder where your VST plugin is located:
- C:Program FilesCommon FilesSteinbergVST2Equator for RISE x64.dll
- Press Rescan to make Ableton find the VSTs in that folder and make them available in your project.
